♣  I am a gardener, planting seeds of freedom & self-discipline, gentleness & justice, joy & gratitude, minimalist & abundance, peace & love.

♣  I am a life entrepreneur, pursuing a life of all things good.  When good is in all things, all things are good.  This is my modus operandi.

♣  I am a writer, discerning life experiences and documenting our travels.

♣  I am Zen-fit, using health and fitness to balance and focus my life.

I am a wife, a mother of 3 wonderful children, an aspiring triathlete, and an advocate of life, love, and learning.  Professionally, I serve as a managing partner of STL Apartments and have been in the property management business since 1997.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College, and a Master of Social Work from Washington University.  I sit on the Board of Advisors of the O’Fallon Family YMCA.  I enjoy camping and road tripping, reading, biking, running, and skiing.  I spend my personal, quiet time reading, writing, and meditating.  My personal mission is love and peace in all things, and you will find that reflected in my life and business practices.

The purpose of My Child’s Gardener is to offer conversation and contemplation.  I believe what one focuses on will expand, and I want to expand my garden and writing.  Part memoir, part personal growth, this blog is a forum of positive support for parents, grandparents, and all who love children.  We don’t have to agree on our favorite vegetables, what order to plant them, or even when to harvest.  The only two premises to agree upon to gain full enjoyment and enlightenment from this blog are:

1.  I am my child’s gardener.

2.  If I plant rudeabaga and crabbage, I can’t expect sweet peas.

I think the true gardener is a lover of his flowers, not a critic to them.” – Reginald Farrer

Welcome.  I hope you will visit often, and invite your friends and family, too.

I am my child’s gardener…planting and weeding, planting and weeding.

Love & Peace,

My Child's Gardener Badge
